Rajkummar Rao started his acting career with a small role in the film Rann and later made his debut as the lead protagonist in Love Sex Aur Dhona. Since then he has achieved success with several hit films, including Talaash: The Answer Lies Within, Stree, Queen and Shahid.

In an interview, Rajkummar Rao talked about his struggling days by mentioning that he came from a humble middle-class background. He revealed that there was a time when he didn’t have enough money to pay his school fees, and his teachers helped him. When he came to Mumbai, he had only Rs 18 in his bank account and struggled to make ends meet. They often had little to eat and survived on Parle-G biscuits and fruities for lunch.

Rajkummar Rao spoke about the challenges of being an outsider in the film industry, as he grew up in a small town and had to travel long distances for his theatre work. However, he persevered and pursued his passion for cinema.

Currently, Rajkummar Rao is a successful actor, known for his performances in both films and the small screen. He reportedly charges Rs 6 crore per film and lives in a luxurious house worth Rs 44 crore.

His latest film, Srikanth, a biographical drama, has received a positive response from both audiences and critics.
