Kalki 2898 AD is all set to release on June 27

Science fiction blockbuster ‘Kalki 2898’ is all set to attract a global audience at its premiere on June 27, 2024. Featuring an extraordinary cast of Indian cinema legends including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani, the film has already created a lot of buzz and expectations among fans.

A week before the release of the film, Deepika Padukone released a new poster of the film in which Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani are standing next to each other.

We have also heard that the film has been cleared by the censor board. According to reports, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan’s film Kalki 2898 has been given a U/A certificate by the CBFC. A copy of the censor board’s purported certificate is circulating online which shows that the film has been approved by the committee but with two changes. The runtime of the film has also been revealed to be a little less than three hours.

The Times of India shared a fan post containing the certificate and mentioned in it that the censor board wants to make small changes. “Initially, file a disclaimer with the freedom of cinema to voice the fictional content and with no intention to harm any religion (entered in the voiceover).” ‘

The certificate also says, “The word ‘Vedi’ should be used to refer to ‘Kal Bhairav’. Subtitle with text (replaced with Devdu). He also said, “Enter card 2898 AD at the beginning of SC2. (Inserted 6,000 years after Mahabharata).
Directed by Nag Ashwin, the trailer suggests that Kalki 2898 is based on the Mahabharata. The story begins with Kashi, a resource-rich land ruled by Saswata Chatterjee’s character, who demands complete loyalty. A prediction suggests that a child will overthrow him, and this kid is in the role of Deepika Padukone. To protect his power, the king places a reward on his head.

Prabhas’ character, Bhairav, a top hunter, believes he is destined to catch him. Amitabh Bachchan’s Ashwathama aims to protect him. The trailer ends with an intense glimpse of Kamal Haasan, which has left fans excited.

At an event held in Mumbai on Wednesday, the team praised the director’s vision and said that his enthusiasm for the release of the film shows.

Kalki 2898 is slated to release on June 27, 2024.
