As stated in a Times of India article, the private jet owned by Saudi Arabia’s Prince and businessman Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud has been described as the most expensive and luxurious in the world, worth around $500 million.
Prince Al Waleed is recognized as one of the wealthiest men in the royal family, estimated to have a net worth of around $18.7 billion according to Forbes.
To meet the prince’s wishes, his Boeing 747 has undergone extensive modifications. These include a master suite with king size beds, private bathrooms, a prayer room, a recreation room equipped with the latest technology, a 10-seater dining area, and a spa and sauna zone.
Although the original price of the Boeing 747 was between $150 and 200 million, the above adaptations have increased the total cost to $500 million. On the upper deck of the aircraft, there is a grand golden throne-like chair with ample seating area and bar area.
Reports circulating online suggest that the same Boeing 747 was used to transport footballer Neymar Jr. when he signed a two-year contract with Saudi club Al-Hilal in 2023, earning him the right to an annual salary of $175 million.
