'In Modi's world, Truth can be expunged, but not in reality':

Several parts of Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the Lok Sabha on Monday have been removed from the Lok Sabha records. The deleted portions include his comments on Hindus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BUP and RSS.

Rahul Gandhi began his speech in the Lok Sabha by referring to the ‘Jai Constitution’, during which the BJP raised ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans. Stating that Hinduism is not about spreading fear, hatred and lies, Gandhi criticised the BJP for its interpretation of Hindu values.

In response, Rahul Gandhi said on Tuesday that everything in PM Modi’s world has been erased.

Truth can be erased in Modiji’s world. But in reality, the truth cannot be erased. What did you say? I had to say, that’s true. They can remove as much as they want. “Truth is truth,” he told reporters outside Parliament.

Gandhi’s statements which were expunged from Parliament proceedings were his allegations on the BJP that the party is treating minorities unfairly, his remarks on industrialists Adani and Ambani, his allegations that the NEET exam is for rich people and there is no place for meritorious students, and the Agniveer scheme is not of the Indian Army, But of the PMO (Prime Minister’s Office).

Some parts of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge were also removed from Parliament records.

Mallikarjun Kharge criticised PM Narendra Modi for his election speeches and also levelled allegations against the RSS, the ideological mother of the ruling BJP.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar defended the RSS, saying the comments were expunged as it was not appropriate to level allegations against the organisation which indulges in nationalist activities.
